Japanese-exclusive cards attacks texts

Was there a decision made somewhere to make the attacks' text use the US old templating, rather than simply translating what is written on the card? Nowhere on Leech Seed's text is there a "Unless all damage from this attack is prevented", nor is there an "Ivysaur". From my very limited knowledge in Japanese, it's something more like "If you deal damage, remove 1 damage counter". I suppose all Japanese-exclusive cards on Bulbapedia have the same issue, unless it is a deliberate decision that has been discussed ? --Froggy25 (talk) 19:38, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
