It has been suggested that this article be moved to Space-time distortion. Please discuss whether or not to move it on its talk page. |
A space-time distortion (Japanese: 時空の歪み Space-Time Distortion) is a feature introduced in Generation VIII that allows the player to catch rare Pokémon that are otherwise unobtainable. Space-time distortions only appear in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
In the games
Frequency of appearance
Once the player has beaten the first Noble Pokémon, Kleavor, space-time distortions will start to appear and spawn after waiting in an area for a certain amount of time without entering the menu, battling, or resting at a base camp. These distortions are more likely to spawn when the player reaches the end of the game's main story. Space-time distortions will not spawn if the weather is intense sun, snowstorm, or thunderstorm. The percentages of distortions spawning based on time are shown below:
Distortion chance (normally) | Distortion chance (end game) | |
---|---|---|
5 minutes | 10% | 30% |
10 minutes | 30% | 40% |
15 minutes | 50% | 70% |
25 minutes | 75% | 100% |
40 minutes | 100% | 100% |
