The Bright Powder (Japanese: ひかりのこな Light Powder), formatted BrightPowder prior to Generation VI, is a type of held item introduced in Generation II that decreases the opponent's accuracy.

Moves targeted at the holder have an additional 20/256 (~8%) chance to miss.

Generation III onward

Bright Powder now reduces accuracy of moves targeting the holder by 10% of what their accuracy would be otherwise.
