Sabrina's father (Japanese: ナツメ 父親 Natsume's father) is a character who appeared in two episodes of the Pokémon anime. His Japanese voice actor is Yousuke Akimoto and his English voice actress is Maddie Blaustein. Due to the fact that he was never given a name, this article will refer to him as Sabrina's father.
He first appeared in Abra and the Psychic Showdown. He recommended that Ash not battle Sabrina, the Saffron City Gym Leader. After Ash was defeated by her, her father returned and told Ash the only way to defeat Sabrina is by using a Template:Type2 Pokémon.
He returned in Haunter versus Kadabra to save Ash from being turned into a doll by Sabrina. Her father told Ash that Sabrina was not always as mysterious and manipulating as she is now. Ash returned to the gym, and using his Haunter, he was able to earn his Marsh Badge by making Sabrina laugh again and therefore bcame herself again like ahe had in the past.
Although it is revealed that the man is Sabrina's father, Ash never figured out their relation. He believed that the man was a photographer, and that was how he knew so much about Sabrina.
