So is this supposed to be a contest espcially for Water Pokémon? I'm only assuming because Dawn uses Piplup, Ash uses Buizel, May uses Wartortle, and Zoey uses Finneon. If this is the case than this be the perfect contest for Misty. It isn't confirmed as Water only event yet, but considering it is the Wallace Cup, and the choices made by the characters, I would be very surprised if it turned out not to be an event for Water Pokémon only. Trainer-c 05:21, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

It is already very surprising that Ash enters a contest with his Buizel, because he traded his Aipom with Dawn's Buizel just for the reason that Buizel didn't like contests, but was more attracted by Gym Battles. Tomazzo
