| {{wp|Sarah Palin|Palin}} is one of the few Alaska politicians who actually cares about Alaska more than she cares about herself. She's fought corruption, and set herself up as an enemy of politicians (like {{wp|Ted Stevens|this guy}}) who have taken advantage of their position for personal gain. And when the {{wp|BP|big}} {{wp|ConocoPhillips|oil}} companies came up with plans for a {{Alaska gas pipeline|natural gas pipeline}} outside her guidelines, she told them where to stick it and went with the one company ({{wp|TransCanada Corp.|a Canadian company, by the way}}) that did what would be best for Alaska. But she's still a conservative, so as much as I admire her, I will never agree with her. And her dedication to Alaska means that she's an excellent governor, maybe even a senator or congresswoman--but she shouldn't be president. | | {{wp|Sarah Palin|Palin}} is one of the few Alaska politicians who actually cares about Alaska more than she cares about herself.
