To all those who edit Platinum tutor moves: check before assuming anything. For instance, just because a Pokémon learns one or even two elemental punches does not mean it learns all three. Check Smogon and Serebii. They are wrong sometimes, but rarely. If you find something that looks suspicious, check it on a Platinum game, or find someone who can. Please do not simply assume things, and then present it as fact on Bulbapedia's move lists. Checking early avoids a lot more hassle for everyone later on. Thanks. — Laoris (Blah) 02:53, 26 November 2008 (UTC) | To all those who edit Platinum tutor moves: check before assuming anything. :On a related note, sometimes a Pokémon can learn a move by tutor in Emerald, but cannot learn the same move in Platinum. Whether or not this makes sense, it's true. — Laoris (Blah) 03:30, 26 November 2008 (UTC) |

Move Tutors or move tutors? - Jshadias 03:26, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Edited the part about only being able to learn Mega Punch or Mega Kick outside of Mt. Moon in LG/FR. My Pikachu learned Mega Kick and my Mankey learned Mega Punch. =) --Doug teh H-Nut 8:00 PM EST, July 11, 2005
Are any of these moves one-shot tutors? Or are they all infinitely teachable? Either way, I think this should be clarified. If the former is the case, it should also be noted on the move's page. --ZellMurasame 16:41, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not sure about FRLG, I think those are one-shot. In Emerald (at least at the Battle Frontier), Crystal, and DP they're all infinite. TTEchidnaGSDS! 20:08, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
D/P tutors
I edited in a little bit of information about the D/P move tutors, similar to the information regarding the Gen II/III/IV move tutors. Is that sufficient? -- Nebula 00:35, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
Mew Tutor
Serebii talks of a tutor for Mew when you transfer it from any game to XD. Will we add this info to this article? The link is http://www.serebii.net/xd/mew.shtml.ht14 13:47, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- It does seem notable. Plus it makes the statement that Mew can learn any attack true. ~$aturn¥oshi THE VOICES 15:10, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Font Colors
As the title suggests, how do the font colors change (like the titles)? Some of the words are hard to read.... ht14 00:45, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Platinum tutors
On the pages for moves that can be learned via Platinum tutors, someone needs to add the list of Pokémon that can learn them. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 19:52, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- On the pages for Pokémon that can learn said move tutors, someone should mention them.
- The problem remains... what about the crossgen evos? Like Ambipom; you can get DynamicPunch on it if you transfer Aipom from Emerald. Should that be mentioned? TTEchidna 23:00, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
Cape Brink Tutor and Starters
So, I bought LeafGreen and FireRed at the same time, and traded the other two starters to my FireRed file early on (by Pewter City). So they all had max happiness by the time I reached Cape Brink. And the move tutor taught Blaze Burn to Charizard, Hydro Cannon to Blastoise, and Frenzy Plant to Venasaur. This proves that it's not just for the trainer's starter (which was Squirtle, by the way).
I can't think of the right words to reword it though, so I'd like to leave that up to someone else; and if someone else doesn't, I'll just have to fix it someother time. But it should be noted. Satosuke 23:05, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
