Talk:Smogon

If you guys can get the approval from the majority of the people who contributed to the Wikipedia Smogon article (shouldn't be hard, seeing as they're mainly Smogonites anyway, and the other edits seem to be minor), I wouldn't have any problem removing the Wikipedia tag. Especially since Wikipedia has deleted the Smogon article there anyway. --Archaic 02:49, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

Editing this article

Is it just me or does this article sound as if it's a Pine-O-Cleen commercial? Ironically, this article isn't "well-written" as it's saturated with self-promoting, self-evaluating text. Regardless, this note is to just inform you people of my reasons justifying why I have edited the article.

Nazi Mention

Before it gets protected

I think the statements about Smogon being a Neo-Nazi and Smogon admins being unfair and abusive should be re-added. This isn't POV, it's reality. --Maxim 19:27, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Why is this protected? This sounds like it was made by some asshole on the site. I don't see what makes it so notable when you've had so many competitive sites throughout the times. Also, I have how the "source" for this article is Smogon's website itself. Why is THE Alternative being blocked again? I agree with GGFan. The site lacks any notability whatsoever and is obviously supported by people who go to Smogon. I've used THE Alternative's analyses before and yet a certain idiot blocked the creation of the site: COSORO
