(Japanese: 鋼鉄島の遺跡! The Ruins of Steel Island!) is the 111th episode of the Diamond & Pearl series, and the 577th episode of the Pokémon anime. It aired in Japan on January 22, 2009.
Synopsis
Not able to control it's aura anymore, Lucario is trying to attack Ash and his friends. Riley and Ash blocks it, but after getting shocked by Pikachu's Thunderbolt, Lucario runs away to the source of the waves, which is a machine that Team Galactic had made. Lucario faints after a battle with Mars, so Ash and friends go to help. While jumping over the hole, Piplup accidentally falls in, Dawn discovers this is the hole (where Jun and Team Rocket are). Dawn tries helping them up from the hole when a Steelix appears, making Dawn fall in as well, and attacks them. Riley goes back to help them, while Ash and Brock battle with Mars. Mars is defeated, but escapes with the machine's key & informs them that she has installed bombs all around the place, and will blow it up at any second, then gets off the island in a helicopter. Ash informs every one of this causing James to cry with Mime Jr.. Carnivine watches James crying and discovers it has learnt vine whip and uses its new found move to help everyone escape the hole. Riley says that he and Lucario would try something to disarm the bomb and tells the others to run as far as they can. When Riley and Lucario find the bombs, they tried to take it off, but can't. But they have another plan... Mars detonates the bombs but there is no explosion. Riley and Lucario had used aura to seal the explosion in it. They sent it in the sky, it is a happy ending....for the heroes and Team Rocket. Professor Karashina arrives and studies the stones Team Galactic had left..... Meanwhile, Team Galactic are back at the headquarters starting another plan.
