If you compare, the one which was already there seems to be slightly better in quality without being too large. Also, if and when the episode screenshot is replaced by a higher quality one, it will make sense to upload it to the image which bears the episode's name. And then, of course, there's just the fact that the user who stuck that one in has been causing problems over this, and so we are giving him no further tolerance. I hope this all makes sense. This is a talk page archive.
It contains old discussions of topics relating to the user. Please do not add or remove any content from it. |
Please don't switch to the image which was added into the article by the sockpuppet account of our current problem user. They are both arguably relevant - Hikari was the focus, but Nozomi was the new character. How would you like to be a sysop? It seems to me that most of your contributions are cleanup. - 振霖T 06:58, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Don't do it he's power hungry!!!
- Sure, I would be honored. :o -Sketchies 11:38, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry about that, I was offline for the last few days as a result of some sloppy, careless workers who ruined the DSL cables. In any case, welcome to the administrative staff on Bulbapedia - some useful links are found here. - 振霖T 08:02, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
- Ack, I rolled back to an edit on the main page, total accident. I didn't even think about it, I thought it was going to take me to the page that said what a roll back was. But I fixed it. I feel silly. -Sketchies 12:43, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Why???
Why did you protect the MissingNo. article? I must've said a million times that I'd stop reverting it! Is one's word worth nothing these days??? -- Glitch and Official Pokémon. There is no real difference between the two. In my opinion, the two should be considered equal!-- quoted by Missingno. Master 21:49, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- I think that Sketchies thinks that your word is worth nothing.PokeManiac102 21:50, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
Oh. OK. Sorry bout that, Sketchies. OK, Theryguy, why did YOU tell him to protect it, even after I said I'd stop reverting it? Is my word worth nothing to you???!?! -- Glitch and Official Pokémon. There is no real difference between the two. In my opinion, the two should be considered equal!-- quoted by Missingno. Master 21:54, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- And I'm more than willing to end this arguement once the page is unprotected. --

I didnt mean you said to me to grow up I was directing it to Cassius, because thats what he or she said to me.
- That was directed to Cassius because he said 'both of you grow up' when I obviously did nothing to deserve such a comment. -Sketchies 10:40, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
wateva
OMG
What gives you the right to stop people from voicing opinions and discussing with others. Forums are to talk about anything Pokemon related Talk Pages are for the direct article.
When you know you are wrong you throw your toys out of the pram and protect the whole talk page. And after looking around and seeing some of your shoddy work as an admin, I see this is not a one of selfish act, but that it seems to be a big part of what you do.
GROW UP!!!
- You see, this is the thing. What you put up there was NOT going to help the article. "I think that as with FireRed and LeafGreen having the Sevii Islands and them actually playing a part in the game, with the search for the ruby and sapphire, SunGold and MoonSilver could have the Orange Islands, (obviously not all of them) and you could have a quest for the GS Ball, and then use it in Ilex Forest Shrine for Celebi like in the Japanese Crystal." This is not fact, it is an idea you have for the game. This doesn't belong in the article. Now if you want to discuss any possible ideas you have about a Gold and Silver remake. Take it to the forums. There is a thread for such discussion. http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/showthread.php?t=18166
- Discussion about helping the article would be something like "I think we need a higher quality image for the main image" or "Could this be expanded upon some how?" Not "I think this should be in the game because it's a super neat idea!" You were discussing the article's subject. Not the article.
- Shoddy work? That's funny. Now, the article will be unprotected when you calm down. I hope this makes things clearer for you. -Sketchies 20:07, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Honestly, when is the MissingNo. article going to be unprotected???
I, personally, think that the article's been protected for far too long at this point. -- Glitch Pokémon. Official Pokémon. There is no real difference between the two. In my opinion, the two should be considered equal!-- quoted by Missingno. Master 18:15, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- If I unprotect it, you're not going to start all this nonsense up again, are you? It's not a real Pokémon, do not attempt to make the page look as such. Understood? -Sketchies 18:18, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Understood completely, entirely, and totally. I WILL make attempts to improve the article, but not to the point where it looks like a page for a real Pokémon. -- Glitch Pokémon. Official Pokémon. There is no real difference between the two. In my opinion, the two should be considered equal!-- quoted by Missingno. Master 18:21, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, it's unlocked. Now run along you little scamp. :P -Sketchies 18:29, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
"do not attempt to make the page look as such. Understood?"
what do you think you are his boss or teacher or something. you are a power hungry person who has to come on here to make yourself feel big.
"I control everyting cause I'm an admin, all shall do as I say...
and if they don't I'll throw my toys out the pram and block the page and then be very demeaning towards the other person!!!"
Who do you think you are!
- User:Darth Cookie Monster 19:03, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Query
I never edited another users coments so don't lie.
And why do you have to talk to people in a very demeaning way. If you open your eyes instead of just picking on people you will see lots of talk pages with TALK like that. I was asking a question about the articles content which by the way is all guess work and very suspicious hints with things like links to previous remakes. I was making a suggestion, you come along and remove the converstation.
you said writing about the article is "can we improve it with this or this" why then are so many not like that?Whatever 19:46, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Sketchies&diff=prev&oldid=336295 This edit begs to differ.
- I'm not picking on anyone. You are picking a fight over this. "*I think that as with FireRed and LeafGreen having the Sevii Islands and them actually playing a part in the game, with the search for the ruby and sapphire, SunGold and MoonSilver could have the Orange Islands, (obviously not all of them) and you could have a quest for the GS Ball, and then use it in Ilex Forest Shrine for Celebi like in the Japanese Crystal." This is not discussing the article. This could easily be discussed on the Bulbagarden Forums.
- I am aware that other articles have that kind of discussion. The day all this started was the day I questioned it on the forums.
- Also, http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3ASketchies&diff=337787&oldid=337785 this edit did not go unnoticed. -Sketchies 19:57, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Ok the first bit, deleting the wateva, I was not aware of so I am prepared to apologize for that.
The 2nd bit was a joke, you can delete it if you want. I'm not picking a fight, just standing up for myself and OrigamiGuy on our rights to freedom of speech. Also does it really do any harm if people write ideas on talk pages. The only reason could be space but there are whole pages of fan fiction and quizzes that must take up a lott of space, so whats the harm in discussing a few ideas.Whatever 20:12, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- It clutters talk pages. If you want to discuss something, use the forums...you'll get more responses that way any way...I'm sorry all of this happened. Lets just move on, alright? -Sketchies 20:20, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Ok now if you had just said that, instead of just getting rid of what I wrote, I would have understood. I agree with your idea of moving on.
On a seperate issue though, are those page of fan fiction, quizzes and jokes allowed. I don't think they aren't allowed on Wikipedia but then again Bulbapedia is seperate from Wikipedia.
Thank you
Hi Sketchies, I was trying 2 get the pic 4 Drew's Roserade in the infobox yesterday but when I tried reverting, it didn't work. Thanks 4 doing it! Now if we could just get a better quality pic 4 Falkner's Pidgeot!--Kuki (w/ a Broken Diamond) 17:34, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Well...
You seem to be the resident online admin right now, so I'll ask you this. What did I do wrong with the template I just created? It looks fine, but when I try to use it, as evidenced by my attempt on the Sandbox, the right column shows up blank. What's the problem? --ニョロトノ666 01:53, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Custom Sprites
Why can't I have custom sprites on the Archives?
Anyway, I have them saved on my computer, so it's okay to delete them now (except for File:SN Avatar.png, because I haven't backed it up yet). --Shiny Noctowl 22:39, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Celebi
Sorry about that... I guess what I was really trying to see is if the idea of Pokémon Eggs could be added to the trivia. But it seems too far out there to really be considered. ~$aturn¥oshi THE VOICES 16:12, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- That idea would be speculation with nothing to back it up. So it wouldn't have made it anyway. -Sketchies 16:32, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- And you are right. I just thought it interesting. ~$aturn¥oshi THE VOICES 16:43, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Clarification
If you removed my edits because of the rule of the goofs section then why don't you also edit DP008 which is similar or how is that episode different? -Tyler53841 16:52, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
why?
I asked you if I could remove it and you just go and do it yourself.
It wasn't me that wrote it, I just saw it. Guardian of Earth 20:45, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- I felt it would be more appropriate for me to remove it. It's not a big deal. -Sketchies 20:47, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Huh
You removed the text I added referring to the picture of Floaroma in Aesthetic changes saying that an arch now resides in front of Floaroma.
1. Why did you remove this?
2. In the edit summary you said "knock it off, both of you."
Can I put the text back? Guardian of Earth 12:50, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- I removed it because you two were fighting back and forth. The "knock it off" part was directed at the edit summaries. No, you may not. -Sketchies 12:52, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
You also removed the bit about new areas being explorable. In the pictures in the gallery you can claerly see new areas and the arch over Floaroma. We weren't fighting, I made an edit, then he improved it, and I improved it further, that's not fighting.
Anyway, if you thought we were fighting, which we weren't, why should that stop accurate, proven content going into the article. Guardian of Earth 12:55, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
Whats going on?
Has some new rules or system been implimented and no-one has informed me.
I see Admins deleting whole user talk pages and archives, (DCM's) and average users removing talk page comments, I thought they weren't allowed to do that. Guardian of Earth 21:37, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Like I have said. It has been decided amongst the administrators to remove non-bulbapedia content from all talk pages. This comes from the fact that there is a lot of junk on talk pages that could easily go to the forums or some kind of social network site. -Sketchies 21:42, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
So does anyone have permission to remove non Bulbapedia stuff like Kuki, as I can see loads of it on talk pages. Guardian of Earth 21:46, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Better leave it to us. I know he has a lot of sections on there...why don't you tell me the headings of the sections that need removed and I'll do it? That'll help me a lot. :P -Sketchies 21:48, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

- This is not the job of other users. This is the staff's job. Do not delete anything. This also goes for telling me anything that needs deleted as well; it's our job to find it. I know you helped me yesterday but that was it. I looked over what they removed and it was indeed in need of removing, but I will tell them not to remove anything from anyone else's page. -Sketchies 13:43, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

If we are getting rid of things that don't have to do with Bulbapedia, does that mean we won't be able to have those user sub pages like my Dub Name Predictions page? --☆ケンジガール 22:33, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Admittedly, TTE's stuff is much more fun! Oh, and if we have a Future Generations of Pokémon page, I think ALL of the Users who do Evos and Prevos pages keep those kinds of pages--KukiTalk 23:28, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Most of the sub-pages are all fanon, sure, but a lot of them are just articles that aren't encyclopedic enough to be in the main namespace, like TTE's or Kenji-Girl's. I myself had a GSDS prediction page (actual logical predictions, not "YOU'LL BE ABLE TO VISIT ALL FOUR REGIONS LOL" or crap like that) that I was going to upload after the ban. Pages like that deserve scrutiny and review before you go and delete them. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 23:32, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Dawn's Ambipom
So you're ok with the opening paragraph reading wrongly? Me, I still remember having to change half the "Ambipom"'s back to "Aipom" because someone changed them all without bothering to think about what occured when. Right now, it reads like Ambipom was always an Ambipom. What the rest of the article says doesn't change the inaccuracy in that paragraph. Inaccuracy we're supposed to be avoiding. - Cassius335 13:51, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- What if the opening read something like "Dawn's Ambipom was the only Pokémon to be captured by Ash Ketchum in the Battle Frontier saga as an Aipom?" See, the problem is, something like this has never occurred in the anime...we'll get this figured out. -Sketchies 14:05, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- Something like that maybe, yeah. Would be nice to mention the evo there too, just to complete the chain - Cassius335 14:18, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

I really don't get you sometimes. If the intent is not to start a revert war, why did you revert me? Couldn't you have just left it alone? - Cassius335 22:14, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- No, I couldn't. Because the piece of information you keep trying to add is inaccurate. Her fanny pack is her backpack. It's the female counterpart to the male's backpack so it's a backpack. End of story. -Sketchies 22:18, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- A fanny pack (what we Brits call a bum bag) is much smaller than a back pack. It might be her "counterpart", but it doesn't have quite the same storage capacity and is worn on a different area of the body. It's like saying that Frosslass is the female version of Glalie, therefore Frosslass is a Glalie. They're related, but not the same. - Cassius335 22:33, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- The fanny pack can store the exact same amount of items as the backpack in the game. Space is never an issue in the anime either. Therefore your point is moot. -Sketchies 22:41, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Magical hammerspace is entirely beside the point. Besides, if that held up consistantly, explain Dawn's suitcase... - Cassius335 22:44, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- You mean the suitcase she didn't bring? The suitcase her mom said was filled with unnecessary things and packed her bag with all the stuff she needed? THAT suitcase? Another invalid point. -Sketchies 22:47, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- If space really wasn't an issue, she could have just stuffed the whole contents of that suitcase into that backpack and wouldn't have needed the suitcase in the first place. - Cassius335 22:55, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

If the intent is not to start a revert war, why did you revert me? Couldn't you have just left it alone? So Cassius. The only way of not getting into an edit war is to do whatever you say? Last time I checked, Bulbapedia was a community driven encyclopedia not a single user driven encylopedia. --☆ケンジガール 23:06, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- So you don't see the irony of attempting to prevent a revert war by reverting something? - Cassius335 23:10, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- The only one whose making the war go on is you. The trivia was stupid and not very accurate anyway. Boywonder was right in deleting it in the first place. Then you think Oh no we need every stupid thing mentioned because that's what trivia is. You seem to be doing this on the basis that other pages have stupid trivia so this should to. Not a good foundation to stand on. Look, 3 out of 5 people didn't want it as trivia. Sorry.
- To me, trivia is supposed to make you think Wow I never thought of that before. Now it's just getting to the point where we can just say any random crap. --☆ケンジガール 23:28, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, but I can accurately judge the actual size of physical objects. And you seem to hate Trivia, so I'm not sure you've got an objective viewpoint here. - Cassius335 23:40, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- I don't hate trivia. Infact it's my favorite section. I just don't like stupid pointless trivia like Misty is the only one of Ash's female friends to have red hair. NAW! REALLY!!!???? Also the backpack thing is a stupid thing to mention. We all can see she has a fanny pack and it's different from Dawn and Misty's bags. --☆ケンジガール 02:34, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- Ah good, we're getting somewhere. You use the word 'stupid' a lot, have you noticed?
- Look, the Bag of Holding stuff is smoke and mirrors, bacause that's game-logic anyway. You just admitted that "it's different from Dawn and Misty's bags" (what, no love for the guys?) and your only other consistant argument basically amounts to "because I don't like it", which is a pretty selfish way of dealing with a community matter.
- Trivia is just random bits of info. The same bit of trivia isn't going to make every person go "wow", because everyone has different tastes. But as long as it's accurate (Which, if we've stopped counting "different with same function" as "exactly the same", it is), I rather fail to see the problem. - Cassius335 12:13, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

I agree with Cassius just because something is related doesn't mean they are the same. It's a bum bag it's not a backpack, it may be the counterpart in game, but just because it is a counterpart doesn't mean it's the same.
Also in Kenjis world it appears that what she says goes.
And if you would like to educate yourself Kenji you will find that Trivia isn't the wow factor, it is infact derived from the word trivial, LOOK AT THE SIMILAR SPELLING, EVEN YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THE CONNECTION. to help you Kenji just in case you can't.
Trivial means the small things that usually go unmentioned which I think this case would be, as it isn't a back pack it's a bum bag. However it is up to the admins to decide, and I trust they will make the wrong decision. Guardian of Earth 17:44, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- If she didn't have anything to carry stuff that would be one thing; but she has a bag to carry things. I am not discussing this further. It is not being added. End of story. -Sketchies 18:02, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sketchies, I've worn a bum bag. Outside the wacky game world of hammerspace, it's basically good for cash and various kinds of cards. It's also strapped around the waist, whereas a backpack goes around the shoulders. Calling a backpack is ludicrous. It's like calling a pebble a boulder because they're both rocks.
- While we're on the subject, how often did we see May actually put things in her fanny pack? - Cassius335 17:20, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Sailor Earth, WTF are you talking about? I am only doing what the admins say is best. It's Cassius who sees everything should be his way. He gets into more edit wars than me. And don't f***ing tell me to "educate" myself when you can't figure out how things work around here half the time. I've been here WAY longer than you and made way more contributions that you. I know what the f*** trivia means. Yes it means little things but it little things you never thought about before. And May has a backpack just like the other girls. It's just around her waste. So what if it's a fanny-pack. You can carry stuff in it. She still managed to fit her sleeping bag in there. Hey while were at it why don't we put in her trivia section that she's the only one to have brown hair and the only one to wear full fingered gloves? Seems that you two love obvious trivia.
Oh and Cassius, keep in mind that I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO DIDN'T LIKE IT. There are others too but they were probably afraid of getting reverted the crap out of by you. We don't need meaningless trivia. People need to contribute more to the articles, not the trivia section. If your going to contribute something to the trivia section, MAKE IT INTERESTING! You already one your battle over the Spanish voice actor of Dawn and now you want to bring drama to this. If anything, your the selfish one. --☆ケンジガール 02:14, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sketcchies, you do realize you are not the ultimate power on everything, right? If this is a community drven wiki, then why should an admin have the power to say "I;m right your wrong, Too bad, whatever I says goes"Emperor's Cookies 03:30, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- Someone tell me why these people are in high school...I am amused as DCM's grammar.
- Seriously, that trivia is absolutely useless. Why are we arguing about it? "May is the only one of Ash's Female companions to not carry a backpack with her while traveling with him." O RLY?I don't see Dawn carry a backpack. Seriously folks, we've gotten into worse edits wars, but the more frequent ones are absolutely ridiculous (Not to mention building up). - What are you talking about? Dawn has a backpack. Her mother gave it to her in DP001. - Cassius335 17:20, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Episode errors
I was recently told that the Errors section of episode articles were only for animation errors. As far as I remember, this has never been the case. What's the truth? I'm Missingno. Master, and I approve this message. 02:07, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- To be honest...I'm not too sure. I've been saying animation errors...but other articles have game inconsistencies. So...lets just go with with both. Sorry for the confusion. -Sketchies 02:12, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- OK, thanks. I'm Missingno. Master, and I approve this message. 02:13, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Please get used to using the preview button so as to not overload the server. For instance, your previous post, Primal Dialga, was missing a period. If you did this, it would be greatly appreciated. ht14 20:04, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- Obviously an accident. Don't freak out over a period. -Sketchies 20:13, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sorry...I'm just saying though, that's all. ht14 20:25, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

This user just registered. His username is highly similar to that of Politoed666.--Diby 11:12, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- Has Politoed been banned? From what I've seen Politoed is a good user...did I miss something? -Sketchies 11:15, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- Noooooooo! He is an admin now! I meant to say that the new user may take up his name to do something bad and bring disrepute to him.--Diby 11:18, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think so...if it was something Politoed_____ then I would think so...but it's not. You may want to get another admin's opinion though. -Sketchies 11:19, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Sockpuppet
Hey. Listen, although I'm technically of higher powers than you are, I'm going to defer to you on this since you've been around here longer than I have and seem to have a pretty good idea about these things. Blisselebi is clearly a sockpuppet of the currently blocked Kuki in my mind. Hell, he pretty much made it obvious when he initially said "you know who this is" and then again when he said "it's Jmath!", a blatant attempt at getting Jmath, a user whom Kuki has had a feud with, reprimanded. In any case, although it's pretty obviously a sockpuppet, Kuki e-mailed me saying that this "Blisselebi" is actually his friend, and that they're at his friend's house. How do I deal with this? I expect to be granted checkuser powers soon, but until I am, I have no way to prove whether or not this is in fact a sockuppet. So, until I am able to finalize this through an IP check, do I assume good faith and unblock Blisselebi or assume sockpuppetry and leave the user blocked? --ニョロトノ666 21:17, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
- Honestly? I would leave him blocked until you can get a check on him, Better safe than sorry. -Sketchies 21:44, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
