While Ash and co. are traveling towards the Olivine Gym, Brock suddenly falls very ill. Realizing that without Brock they are unable to do anything right, Misty and Ash try to live their daily lives by themselves by camping outside and cooking their own meals, but will Brock recover soon? - Ironically, while Misty was apparently a terrible cook in this episode, she cooked up a Stun Spore heal almost flawlessly in a prior episode, and artwork for Topps Trading cards showed her cooking some stew.
- A future episode's dub title is similar to this one's.
- This episode currently has the shortest dub title in the anime.
Errors
- On the corresponding page on Pokémon.com the episode is called Sick Days instead of Sick Daze. This seems to be a mistake as the events in the episode last less than even two days. Moreover, words that are similar to daze are present in Italian, Spanish and Latin American Spanish translations.
