A Veteran (Japanese: ベテラントレーナー Veteran Trainer) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation IV games. They are generally depicted as healthy old men in old-fashioned clothing.
They are younger versions of the Expert class of Generation III, but use a variety of Pokémon instead of just Template:Type2.
