Guts (Japanese: こんじょう Guts) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Thirteen Pokémon have this ability.
Effect
In battle
Guts raises the Attack stat by 50% while affected by the Burn, Paralysis or Poison status ailments.
In Generation IV, the Attack stat is also raised by the Sleep status ailment.
Guts also cancels out the attack drop of a burn, before applying the 50% bonus.
Outside of battle
Guts has no effect outside of battle.
Mystery Dungeon
A Pokémon with this ability will gain a 100% bonus to physical attack, provided that the Pokémon has a major status affliction.

Dual ability
