Based on my experience in Generation IV, Haze does ''not'' remove confusion, the stat cut from Paralysis, or the effect of Leech Seed. Nor does it remove major status ailments from either battler. I suspect that its only effect in Generation IV is to remove actual stat changes, such as those caused by Growl or Screech. Someone (maybe I) should confirm this. It should also be checked when this change in functionality took place. Does anyone know how Haze worked in Gen III? * I'm pretty sure Haze just doesn't affect the user for this. In a double battle, a paralyzed ally will regain its speed, just not healed from the actual paralysis. Not sure about the effect it has on Burn though. If I remember, I'll check again on the paralysis thing and update. --[[User:Wikifixer|Wikifixer]] 17:52, 12 August 2009 (UTC) | * I'm pretty sure Haze just doesn't affect the user for this. It doesn't say that Haze recovers freeze (and in fact says it doesn't remove major status ailments) but it also says that a Pokémon that recovers from freezing through Haze that hasn't recovered from Hyper Beam won't be able to attack or anything. But since when does Haze recover freeze? If it does, it should state this. Or is it referring to Stadium only? If so this should be mentioned. Freeze
It doesn't say that Haze recovers freeze (and in fact says it doesn't remove major status ailments) but it also says that a Pokémon that recovers from freezing through Haze that hasn't recovered from Hyper Beam won't be able to attack or anything.
