I'm new, so I'm not sure how to do this really. If I put this in the wrong place, I'm sorry but I've got Pokemon Diamond Version. I can't remember where, but it's somewhere hard to get to but I found a plate called the "Mysterious Plate" but before I checked the plates on Bulbapedia, thought it was an average type plate. If I ever find it again, I'll try to take a picture somehow from my DS but I swear I'm not joking or lying about this. craigybabyxo, 14:01 (GMT)

Suggestion?

Perhaps this page should include the text that's inscribed on the back of the plates? Would be nice to have that compiled. -GG Crono 17:58, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Placement of this page.

I wasn't really sure where to put this information, so I just stuck it in a page of it's own for now. There didn't seem to be any clear place to put it, but if one comes up, feel free to merge. I also don't know the location of the Earth Plate - if anyone else knows, adding it would be funky.--Doctor Oak 07:01, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Engravings

Can we really know that's the right order? Besides the Dialga/Palkia/lake trio parts being together, it's pretty nonsensical.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 00:47, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Let's put each plate with its description instead... looks better and we don't have to care for the order. hfc2X 21:20, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
I think we should try a sandbox version first, because it looks like I got a different Draco Plate quote than you. I'll check my notes again, but I am 90% certain my Draco Plate talked about "The Original One breathed alone".
Has anyone else gotten the plates with different quotes than was listed in the comments? Maybe the engravings are based on the order you pick them up, and not the plates themselves.KrytenKoro 08:07, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure that the draco plate was the one that said: Three beings were born to bind time and space." But I could be wrong, as i don't have any notes.--100xstupid 21:39, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm sure they go in the order that you find them. 1st you find has the first message, second has the second, etc. The Dark Fiddler - Nos hablamos? 21:39, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
And do they repeat for the second lot of eight? — THE TROM — 01:42, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
For the correct order, we could just wait until the event Arceus is avaliable and use it in Platinum to get the extra book in the Canalave Library. And the quotes seem to not be plate-specific.--Swampert = awesome (bleh) 12:26, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

??? Plate

My friend has a "Crystal Plate" and he was able to make his Arceus into the ???-type Arceus. He got it from his friend's glitched game. File:Ani380MS.gifYinYang1195File:Ani381MS.gif 20:51, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Do you have proof? We're talking screenshots or videos here. --Shiningpikablu252 20:53, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
Sigh... no "Crystal Plate" or something was found inside the game's coding... too bad. ???-Type Arceus will never appear. Is it so difficult to understand? It was only placed in case of hacking, so the game would not crash. If it will ever appear in game it will be useless, cause it won't have weaknesses nor resistances nor get STAB for attacks. hfc2X 19:45, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
I'm sorry, I made a mistake. He said "Cursed Plate" and his "friend" that supposedly had it lies a lot. It was probably a lie. Can someone check? YinYang 23:18, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Tell your friend that the sprite of ???-Type Arceus has the same function of the in-battle description (and contest effects) of Struggle... it is inaccessible if you don't hack your game, 'cause struggle cannot be learned by ANY Pokémon. But imagine if a Pokémon with Struggle goes into a contest and if it doesn't have description nor contest-effect it will be cathastrophic LOL xD. Same for ???-Type Arceus: if Arceus type is changed from Normal to ??? and you send it into battle and if there wasn't a sprite... you surely got it ;). hfc2X 03:10, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Regigigas?

How do we know that that's what "defeated giants" means?KrytenKoro 20:45, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, that had me curious too. I don't recall anything in-game that ever mentioned it, and the only way that it could really make any sense is if it was the inscription on the Normal Plate, but seeing as how there isn't a Normal Plate, and the inscriptions aren't specific to the individual plates, that kind of goes out the window. --Dual 05:59, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Changing a link?

Three beings were born to bind time and space." Does this third one mean Giratina? Because it cannot be the lake trio, as the link claims, because they created the spirit. I think this link should be changed into one that navigates too the "dragon trio" page, although i don't really want to take a side in that true or false row until i see proof. "Two beings of time and space set free from the Original One." This could mean that while Dialga and Palkia created time and space, Giratina helps to hold it together. The distortion world could be glue, oh hang on, what a stupid suggestion--100xstupid 21:34, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

According to Giratina and the Sky Warrior the Reverse World (anime version of the Distortion World) says that one can't survive with out the other... I think. Vespitomb> 19:12, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Stone Plate

Where do you find the Stone Plate in Platinum? My little brother is looking for it, and on here it just says Mt. Coronet (which is a very big place) and it has D/P next to it, meaning Diamond and Pearl, so where do you find it in Platinum? Max King 13:20, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you also get it at Mr. Coronet in Platinum, however I may be wrong, so don't take my word for it. ~~Takoto - サソデイ 13:26, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
It says DP only in the actual Mt Coronet article, thanks for the help though Takoto Max King 23:27, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
The Stone plate is found hidden in the rock in the room above the waterfall (accessed from the first peak area).--Swampert = awesome (bleh) 12:23, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
