Overgrow (Japanese: しんりょく Fresh Greenery) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Twelve Pokémon have this ability; each one of them is a member of the evolution family of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh's Template:Type2 starter Pokémon.

Effect

In battle

When a Pokémon with Overgrow uses a Grass-type move, it will do 150% of its damage if the user has less than or equal to 33% of its maximum HP remaining.

Oustide of battle

Overgrow has no effect outside of battle.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon

In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, it will do double the damage if the Pokémon using it is below 25% of its HP.
