Lance (Japanese: ランス Lance) is one of the four Team Rocket Executives introduced in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Lance is first seen and battled in the Slowpoke Well, where Team Rocket is trying to cut off Slowpoke tails to make a profit.

Trivia

• Interestingly, Champion Lance of the Kanto and Johto Elite Four posed as a Team Rocket agent in the anime during the Johto saga. This was during events related to the Lake of Rage, however, rather than to Slowpoke Well or the Radio Tower.
• Like Charon, it is unlikely that Lance will keep his Japanese name in English, despite the other three executives of his team keeping theirs. Unlike Charon, whose name change is likely due to either pluto's status as a planet or the disney character of the same name, Lance's would instead be due to the fact that the Champion in HeartGold and SoulSilver shares his name.
