(Japanese: ポリゴンZ PorygonZ) is a Normal-type Pokémon. It evolves from Porygon2. PorygonZ is the only Pokémon that evolves from a Pokémon that evolves through the use of a Trade Item.

Biology

Physiology

PorygonZ resembles some sort of pink hummingbird. It has a blue tail that points downard. PorygonZ has skinny, blue arms and lacks feet. PorygonZ has a blue stripe in the middle of its body. PorygonZ has no neck and its head just floats a few inches above the rest of its body. PorygonZ has a short antenna on the top of its head. Each of PorygonZ's eyes are completely black except for a thin yellow ring that represents the eye's pupil.

PorygonZ is genderless.

Trivia

Origin

Like Porygon and Porygon2, it seems to be based on the concept of a bird created by computer graphics software. It seems to be modeled after a humming bird.

Name origin

Its name is a misspelling of polygon. The "Z" could either refer to the Z axis in 3D coordination systems or that PorygonZ is the last of it's evolutionary line (since the letter Z is the last letter of the Latin alphabet).
