In the anime
Conway, a minor recurring character, who was Dawn's tag team partner, seems to be based on the Super Nerd class. He appeared in Tag! We're It!, and through the summer arc special from Camping It Up! through to One Team, Two Team, Red Team, Blue Team. However, he is not known to own any Poison, Electric or Template:Type2s, his currently known Pokémon being Slowking, Aggron and Heracross.
In the manga
William (Japanese: アキヒト Akihito), a minor recurring character in the Yellow chapter of the Pokémon Special manga, belongs to the Super Nerd class. He first appears in Whacked by Marowak! where he is disguised as Red, punches Erika and takes away Pika. He uses a Marowak to escape from the citizens of Celadon City. He is later defeated in Paras Sight by Misty, Brock, Erika, and Blaine, and Yellow gets Pika back from him. In As Gastly as Before, he is taken away by a Gastly and it is later revealed that he was hired by Agatha of the Elite Four.
