The Network Machine

The Network Machine is located in the One Island Pokémon Net Center in FireRed and LeafGreen. Its programmer is Celio, one of Bill's close friends and admirers.

The machine allows players to trade with Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. When first encountered, it is not operational at all because of some kinks in the system. With the help of Bill, the machine is fixed, allowing access to the PC in the Sevii Islands. However, as the Ruby and Sapphire have not been installed, its access with other regions is only limited to Kanto. Once the Ruby and Sapphire are retrieved by the player, the machine will function. However, the National Pokédex must be obtained, the Pokémon League defeated, and the Rainbow Pass must be obtained.

Data
