The Itemfinder is an item used in the Pokémon games to find hidden items. In R/B/Y/G/LG/FR it is given to you by a Prof. Oak Aide in the Route 11 lookout after you have 20 different kinds of Pokémon. In G/S/C, it is given to you by a man in the southernmost building of Ecruteak. It cannot be sold, and can be applied to be used with the Select button starting in Generation II games.
