Clear Body (Japanese: クリアボディ Clear Body) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Eight Pokémon have this ability.

Effect

In battle

Clear Body prevents stat reduction caused by another Pokémon's move. Stat reductions can only be caused on Pokémon with this ability if they are self-inflicted, such as from moves like Superpower.

In addition, Clear Body does not prevent stat reduction as a side effect from the status effects Paralysis and Burn.

Outside of battle

Clear Body has no effect outside of battle.
