Solid Rock (Japanese: ハードロック Hard Rock) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. Only two Pokémon have this ability, both of which have one or more double weaknesses. Both Pokémon are also in the Ground egg group.
Effect
In battle
Solid Rock reduces super effective damage to 3/4. A move that would deal 2x damage will instead deal 1.5x damage, and a move would deal 4x will instead deal 3.
Outside of battle
Solid Rock has no effect outside of battle.
