Ash's Sewaddle (Japanese: サトシのクルミル Satoshi's Kurumiru) is the sixth Pokémon that Ash obtained in the Unova region.
History
Sewaddle first appeared while Ash and friends were in Yaguruma Forest and attacked Pikachu. Afterwards Ash tried to catch it and failed, Sewaddle then ran away but later reappeared and knocked Ash to the ground when the trio met Arti, who revealed that Sewaddle was accompanying him through the forest although it is not his Pokémon.
Despite showing antipathy to Ash early, Sewaddle started to change its mind when Ash jumps in front an attack of two Woobats to protect both Pikachu and Sewaddle and mainly after Ash jumped to a climb to save it. Sewaddle finally allowed Ash to throw a Poké Ball to catch it and became part of his team.
