Rival?

Could Bianca Be Considered A Rival? She's Collecting Badges And Battles Ash In Friendly Battles Just Like Barry Did. --Manaphy1 23:41, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

To me, she deserves more than the title of "rival" that Ritchie for example.-Hikaru Wazana 22:10, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

I agree, I think that she could be considered a "friendly" rival, much like Kenny, or Nando, for example. She is definitely not an "unfriendly" rival, like Paul or Ursula, for example. Why do you ask? --ジェダイの騎士デジタルテレビ 00:47, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
She hasn't done anything significant to show she's a rival. She's just like Casey right now. --ケンジガール 02:42, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

May I ask why Cabernet is considered a rival while Bel isn't?RBK 21:47, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

She is Cilan's rival Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 22:54, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Ya and Bel is Ash's, why isn't she in the rival box?RBK 23:03, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

KG has already stated that Bianca as not done anything to be considered a rival. She more closely engages in friendly training battles, much like what Ash and Iris do with Axew and Scraggy. Cabernet however has sworn to getting revenge on Cilan and being better than him in every way. Wanting to out-do someone is very much a rival point-of-view. Bianca is just friendly competition, but hasn't got much interest in showing Ash up. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 23:13, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Then may I ask why in the BW019 episode guide Cilan and Cabernet's battle isn't counted as a major event?? A rival battle is a major event is it not?? Also Bianca is collecting badges, battled Ash(in an official battle no a training one), and promised to be stronger the next time they met. Also since when does a rival have to be out for your blood to be considered a rival?? And I love how one training battle against Iris means she is not a rival. She also battled Ash in that episode if you forgot. She is also appearing in the upcoming episode with all the other rivals where she will most likely battle Ash again. She is gonna be in the league, and has done quite a lot more then Nando has yet isn't a rival? Really? Also Trip doesn't go around wanting to show Ash up so what does that have to do with anything??RBK 23:34, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

I'll be happy to answer your questions one at a time. :) Then may I ask why in the BW019 episode guide Cilan and Cabernet's battle isn't counted as a major event?? Simple. At the time of its airing, we weren't 100% sure if Cabernet was going to reappear or not. Now she is, so it's likely it will be allowed to be added. But perhaps let's wait until the episode airs? We've got until July. Also Bianca is collecting badges, battled Ash(in an official battle no a training one), and promised to be stronger the next time they met. Of course, isn't that the basis of being a Pokémon trainer? To get better? She never specifically says she wants to be better than Ash. Just that she'll work hard to be stronger for Ash. She is also appearing in the upcoming episode with all the other rivals where she will most likely battle Ash again. She is gonna be in the league, and has done quite a lot more then Nando has yet isn't a rival? Just cause she's going to appear in the episode doesn't mean anything. What if she's Ash's partner in a tag battle. Like I said, wait until July. She's done more than Nando? A character that has appeared for 4 seasons? I find that kind of unlikely. I can't answer that clearly as I haven't seen every DP episode, but I definitely recall Nando being a bit more competitive than Bianca is. Also Trip doesn't go around wanting to show Ash up so what does that have to do with anything?? Sure he doesn't go around doing it. But whenever Ash is around, he'll put him down, and his goal is obviously to be better than him so he could reach the Champion level. The issue with Trip is that he feels he already is better than Ash, and feels there isn't much competition. But it's still a rivalry. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 23:58, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Nando has a grand total of like five battle's in DP. One against Dawn, Two against Ash, And two against Zoey(if I'm not mistaken) plus he only got one episode for him. Bel has already battled against Iris and Ash, has had an episode, plus has been shown to catch a pokemon, and try to catch another one. When do anybody but rivals ever get shown catching a pokemon or trying to??. Yes I realize COD's do it a lot but they never appear again(well maybe they appear once). Paul, Zoey, Trip, Barry, all rivals, all battled Ash, all battled another of Ash's friends(or each other), all shown trying to capture pokemon(yes I know Zoey isn't Ash's rival but still). Bel has already done almost all the things that made all these other people rivals. Plus she has appeared almost more then Nando, Harrison, Tyson, and will be in the league just like they are. She is essentially Barry(except without the fining thing).RBK 00:19, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

Pignite

The Pignite it does not deserve its own page? After all, it is the starter, moreover had the most appearances of The Trip's Servine for example.-Hikaru Wazana 22:20, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

We have one in my userspace, we are waiting for it to do a little bit more before mainspacing Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 00:37, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

Oh come now if Chillarmy gets his own page then Choaboo should too.RBK 03:19, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

Please take a look at the focus. Minccino had a whole episode dedicated to him. And Bianca uses him fairly often in battle. Again, Trip's Servine has an article because it is his signature/most used Pokémon. I'd appreciate it if you would stop drawing comparisons. If Pignite is shown to do more, he will have is own article. This is just how it works. --ケンジガール 03:41, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

Wait Chaoboo is her starter, has appeared in every episode Chillarmy has, has been used to capture Chillarmy, has been used in every training battle Chillarmy has, has been used to capture Emonga, won two badges single handedly, and battled Ash in his first battle against a female rival and thats less then Chillarmy??RBK 04:25, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

Pignite hasn't done anything notable since his debut. Even in his debut he didn't do much. Ataro 04:28, 27 May 2011 (UTC)
Kay. It may have won her two badges but did we see that happen? Nope. And Pignite did not aid in Minccino's capture. It was unable to battle at the near beginning of the episode after it was Tickled. Minccino got captured after it tried to clean Bianca's dirty Poké Ball. And like stated it the notability policy, a Pokémon must do more than simply battle. And that's about all Pignite has done. Minccino was an overall plot of an episode. That's why it has a page and Pignite doesn't. Its box was getting overcrowded with info so I OK'd it for its own article as it had a large amount of information about it. So please... Can we drop the Pignite discussion until Bianca reappears? --ケンジガール 04:37, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

Now that Pignite is confirmed for the next episode and it even gets to take part in a Gym Battle, I think it's deserving of its own page... Watchermark 18:22, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

Can we wait for it to air first? Ataro 20:04, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
Ok, the episode aired. Bianca lost HORRIBLY but Pignite actually managed to damage to Zebstrika. If that isn't notable, I don't know what is... Ataro 11:40, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
