Mrs. Makani (Japanese: マカニ様 Mrs. Makani) is a recurring character who first appeared in Crystal-Clear Sleuthing!.
She is a character on a TV show called Alolan Detective Laki (Japanese: アローラ探偵ラキ Alola Detective Laki). Mrs. Makani is most likely not the actress's real name but rather the name of the character she portrays. She is a widow who had received the Princess Tear from her late husband, Mr. Makani. In one episode of the TV show, the jewel was stolen. Detective Laki investigated the case and gathered a room full of suspects, with Mrs. Makani also present. Laki deduced the thief was the doctor among the suspects, who had hidden the jewel in Sableye dolls. Mrs. Makani was relieved to have her precious jewels back.
She appeared again in SM048.
