Mad Magmar

Should we not just call him Mad Magmar? Or is there a rule to use romanized Japanese names even if they obviously contain Pokémon names? Monchi132390 (talk) 12:37, 25 September 2018 (UTC)

I'm watching A Young Royal Flame Ignites on Pokémon.com right now, and the captions call him Mad Magma. Do... they just not count or something? - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talk • contribs) 02:57, 4 March 2019 (UTC)

It's noted in the trivia but otherwise it seems to be a Scottie-esque error. In terms of dialogue, it's only said a couple times in SM081 where he plays a minor role, compared to SM093 where he's the major antagonist and is called "Mad Magmar" in the iTunes summary and six times throughout the episode by various characters. --Abcboy (talk) 03:25, 4 March 2019 (UTC)
