Welcome to Bulbapedia, Sundar!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

I have a question

Hello Bulbapedia. I hope it's okay that I'm asking this here. I'm just curious: is there a list of articles that need to have typos fixed or information added to them? I joined here recently and while I have been using the Random Page link to find pages to edit, I thought it might help me if I could work on things that have specifically been identified as needing to be done. This might help you out. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Category:Articles_needing_more_information Rahl (talk) 16:29, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
Thank you so much! Sundar (talk) 17:36, 7 October 2019 (UTC)

Talk pages

Talk pages are for suggesting improvements to an article, not for casual conversations. If you want to have casual conversation, you can go to the forums. Thank you.--ForceFire 16:53, 7 October 2019 (UTC)

Userspace policy

Users are not permitted to have userspace content on talk pages until they become autoconfirmed users. It is a violation of the userspace policy to have things such as usertags on a talk page, such as you had with your sandbox page. Please read and follow the userspace policy in the future. --Abcboy (talk) 21:09, 7 October 2019 (UTC)

Talk pages, again

Your talk page isn't for saving material that is to be added to another article, either. Either you add the saved material to the appropriate article right away or, if you're locked out of editing said article or for whatever other reason, you create a sandbox article where you can store all of that. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 01:46, 8 October 2019 (UTC)

Also, don't remove talk page messages. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:31, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
First, you removed messages of mine from my talk page. Why are you allowed to do that while I'm not? Second, what messages did I remove from here? I only added back the messages of mine that you deleted. Sundar (talk) 02:36, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
Did you not read my edit summary? Those are NOT allowed on your talk page, thus they can be removed. Plus, you removed my original warning about saving, on your talk page, material that you want added to another article. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:40, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
I don't always notice edit summaries, so sorry for not catching that. And I can see the difference between your removals and mine. Finally, I honestly did not intend to remover your warning. I was just trying to restore my own edits. Sundar (talk) 02:48, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
Well, please be more mindful of edit summaries, as well as the site's talk page policy. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:50, 8 October 2019 (UTC)

Diffs

You can compare certain edits using the edit history by using the differences (or "diffs") to your advantage. For example, for Maxie (EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua 73), you'd see that we both removed the commas in the "Trivia" section. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:25, 8 October 2019 (UTC)

Pointless edits

Please do not make pointless edits, like you did to Araquanid (TCG), they are unconstructive and can be seen as vandalism. Thank you.--ForceFire 07:47, 9 October 2019 (UTC)

Sorry about that. I had simply been curious as to whether I could change the color of templates, so that's why I made such a small edit and then undid it right after. Sundar (talk) 08:03, 9 October 2019 (UTC)

Blocked

Due to continuously ignoring your warnings regarding improper use of the talk page, you have been blocked. Please read the Talk page policy, talk pages are for suggesting improvements to an article. Not for casual small talk. If you want to have a casual conversation, you can go to the forums. Please take any warnings you get on your talk page seriously, you have been told a few times not to do this, and you still did it anyway. If you return and continue to misuse the talk page, you will be blocked for longer. Thank you.--ForceFire 14:02, 10 October 2019 (UTC)

The talk page policy applies on all three wikis, not just on Bulbapedia. Due to you evading your block on Bulbapedia by continuing your behavior on the Archives, you have been blocked again for two weeks. --Abcboy (talk) 23:29, 11 October 2019 (UTC)
