Shūhei Yasuda

Yasuda Shūhei (Japanese: 安田 周平 ) is the current lead character designer[1] and animation direction[2] for the Pokémon anime.
Shūhei started working in the Pokemon anime as a key animator during the XY & Z Series[3], changing to a character designer for the Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon[4] and advanced to the position of animation director for the Pokémon Journeys: The Series. He also directed the first three openings for the Journeys Series, "One, Two, Three".
He also contributed with illustrations for the Trading Card Game, exclusively for the Ash vs Team Rocket Deck Kit. For a list of cards he illustrated, go here.
