Talk page
For some reason, I cannot edit my talk page. It says that it is protected to prevent vandalism. In addition, most of the time I do two edits in a row on the same page, it is because I cannot open up a second tab of BP due to device limitations. CyberDragonM (talk) 19:00, 6 November 2023 (UTC)
- You will not be able to make certain kinds of edits, such as removing comments or the welcome message at the top of your page, until you are autoconfirmed. That being said, keep in mind that in most cases deleting or editing comments is disallowed per the talk page policy, though you are free to archive your talk page in order to clean old comments away. - Here's a link explaining how to archive a user talk page, if you so desire.[1] If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me or another staff member. Thank you. Landfish7 20:03, 6 November 2023 (UTC)
- I have not created my user page yet, and it is saying that I am not allowed to do so. I am not trying to remove anything.- unsigned comment from CyberDragonM (talk • contribs)

Creating talk pages
Please do not create a talk page just for the sake of creating a talk page, only create a talk page if you want to discuss something on the subject matter.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 14:06, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
- I was about to add a discussion, but wanted to get my information right. It has only been about 2 minutes since I created the page. CyberDragonM (talk) 14:08, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
- Just realized that that was the wrong talk page for the question I had. Should it be deleted? CyberDragonM (talk) 14:18, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
- Just so you know for the future, you can make the Talk page and post your question in the same edit. Just press the little "+" at the top of the page next to the "create" button. -Minibug (talk) 14:23, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
- No worries. I went ahead and deleted the empty talk page. (Non-existent talk pages are a little weird, but as Minibug said, it should never be necessary to create them empty.) Nescientist (talk) 17:07, 6 January 2024 (UTC)

It automatically starts to create a new page for some reason. I never see a create button. Due to device limitations, I cannot use desktop mode, which was my first thought. CyberDragonM (talk) 18:34, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
New member talk pages
When creating a talk page for a new member, please remember to include the welcome template, guessing you're not familiar with what that is or where to find it, simply copy and paste {{subst:Welcome}}--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 11:07, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
Will do. Thanks for the template. CyberDragonM (talk) 12:23, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
Tenses
Just so you know, the habit of writing pages on short term events such as Poké Portal News or Mystery gift event articles in past tense is also just to make maintenance easier... These events will be over in a week and then said changes have to be reverted again (which is something that doesn't happen very consistently). 4iamking 20:23, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
Ok. Thanks for the info. CyberDragonM (talk) 09:30, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
User page
My templates are broken. Can someone please help? CyberDragonM (talk) 14:14, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
Talk page etiquette
Please try to avoid leaving consecutive comments on talk pages, as it interrupts anybody who may be trying to respond. Additionally, please remember to indent your comments so that the discussion is easy to follow. Thank you. Landfish7 15:31, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- I will try to keep that in mind in the future, Thanks. CyberDragonM (talk) 16:35, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
