- Poliwag has brand-new legs and no arms, so it has a hard time standing. It prefers to swim.
- The hard horn on Seel's head is used for bashing through thick ice, which comes in handy in its freezing Arctic home.
- Shellder's hard shell repels any type of attack. This mischievous Pokémon likes to tease its enemies during battle by sticking out its tongue.
- Krabby will attack anything that enters its territory. Its powerful pincers are used both for fighting and for balance when walking sideways.
- This fragile Pokémon can shoot down flying insects from the surface of the water using pinpoint blasts of ink.
