Wouldn't it be useful to add something about the amount of Poffins a Pokémon can eat? So does anyone know the maximum number of Poffins before the Pokemon can't eat anymore? Tesh 15:52, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Pretty sure it's 12. (Although I suck at Poffin cooking, so I can only assume it's the same as Pokéblocks.) TinaTheKirliaFile:281MS.gif 15:57, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

It shocked me to find that my Luxray wouldn't eat anymore, so I was wondering why... Tesh 16:49, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Different Poffins have differetn rates. For example, if your poffin has a smooth rate of 24, compared to a Poffin with a smooth rate of 16, the one iwth 16 will fill your Pokémon up less than the one with the smooth rate of 24. You can determine the amount of 'smooth' a Pokémon has when you check the conditions (The more stars, the furrier). Something like that. Funny you can't groom the fur out of your Pocket Monsters...PsychicFile:Ani475MS.gif Agent 448Talk | DP Fighting 05:34, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Should we include the smoothness rates in the Poffin Cooking section of the Berry articles? File:Ani413MS.gifAgggron (Talk | Edits)File:Ani412MS.gif

Well, I don't see any poffin cooking section on the berry article and it would make sense to put the info in the poffin part so I'll add some useful information on smoothness *changitychangechange* done --Wikid

Levels

  • I think that this page should discuss levels as well as smoothness since that is explained on this page.

Sprites

We should have all of the possible poffin sprites on this page. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 14:44, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Condition Points

On each berry page, it says how many condition points are gained. Like on Durin Berry, it says Bitter: 30. What is the amount of points required for max condition? TorchicBlaziken (talk) 17:13, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Anime

In the articke it says...Pachirisu is particularly fond of them, which may indicate its nature is one that enjoys sweet flavors. But in the anime, I think it works difeerently, and different kinds of Pokémon like different flavours. This is seen when Dawn make's the poffin that was specifically made for Glameow. And after she threw it away, becasue her other Pokémon hated it, Meowth had a taste and loved it. This could indicate that Pokémon based after cats like the poffin, and the nature does not influence ther likness... Just a theory--Wowy 05:59, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Mild Poffins

Me and a few friends have been experimenting with replicating that lovely Lv. 60 mild poffin provided us by the game. None of us have used ours, either; hope it's not going mouldy...anyway, we've made a few attempts at making one, and I know others who also would like to know the secret, so I was wondering whether folk on here knew, and if we could (in a more encyclopaedic fashion, of course) include some information about mild poffins. We first tried, with the idea of having a balance of all 5 flavours, mixing a Kelpsy and a Shuca (3 and 2), and then a Chesto and a Leppa (1 and 4), only they failed to make a Mild - one made a low-level Sweet and the other a foul!! But then later on when we had a third person mixing, we mixed together a Pecha, a Mago and a Watmel and oh, we got a lovely Lv. 51 mild poffin!! Then looking at its tag, we saw that it was only 'mild' in Sweet and Bitter. So we are confused. Is a mild poffin anything well-made above Lv. 50, or one with an equal amount of flavour? What have others found? Lady BlahDeBlah 20:44, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

A couple more questions

1. When making poffins with more than one player, when you stir in the same spot, it makes a sparkly sound and shows rainbowy sparks. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

2. Besides for burns and spills, what determines the level of the poffin? I thought having more people would help, but we didn't do very well. This also might have to do with Question #1.

I am also very curious of the answer to the person who asked about replicating the level 60 mild poffin.

Poffins can raise happiness?

I see that in the article it says that poffins can raise happiness, but nothing is mentioned in the Happiness article. What gives? Karasuhebi 17:49, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

Poffins and HG/SS

I've noticed that the article makes no mention of Poffins in regards to Heart Gold and Soul Silver. I'm pretty sure Poffins can't be made in HG/SS since there aren't any Pokemon contests (as far as I know, anyway.) Despite this, the games still explicitly mention Poffins, particularly in the Item descriptions for all Poffin-making berries. In my opinion, it should be noted somewhere within the article that Poffins cannot be made in HG/SS. (or, if they can actually be made, the article should explain where and how to do so.) --Bananaman 22:56, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
