Trivia
- For reasons unknown, this episode, as well as Jump For Joy, A Pokéblock Party, and Watt's With Wattson? have aired only twice on American TV. These may be classified as the lost TV episodes since Pokémon: Advanced underwent a 3 month hiatus on Kids' WB!. They can still be obtained on Volume 8 of the Advanced DVD and the Advanced DVD Box Set. It has been played once more in Cartoon Network's Pokémon Episodes that are new to the network in the summer of 2008.
- This is the first time Max pulls Brock away from a girl.
- The dub title makes a reference to Misty, the Gym Leader and Ash's traveling companion during the original series. Interestingly, she would reappear just six episodes later.
- This episode is featured on the Volume 4: Electric copy of Pokémon Elements.
Errors
- In one scene, May's socks completely disappeared.
- James's Cacnea had the three dark green diamonds under its mouth and the four point shape at the top of its head colored black like its mouth when it was attacking Ash and his friends.
