Tomoko Kawakami (Japanese: 川上とも子 Kawakami Tomoko, real name in kanji 川上倫子, born April 25, 1971) is a Japanese seiyū for the Pokémon anime.
On August 19th, 2008, she underwent surgery after admitting herself to a hospital with an unknown illness. As a result she was given an 10 month sick leave. Satsuki Yukino is currently serving as her understudy. It is unknown when Kawakami will return to the series.
