It's the only

Dual-Type Normal-Type with no Electric weakness. Someone put this in for me, please, I'm horrible at edits. --Chaos Theory 20:04, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Horrible at edits or not, you wouldn't have been able to do it yourself anyway at this time. It's not until UTC reaches tomorrow that the protections set on the species pages start to expire, provided that they're not renewed (and believe me, that would require multiple people slaving over a hot stove, cooking dolphin, and getting no appreciation). I'd reveal the reasons for this, but if I did so, I'd have to permablock you. --Shiningpikablu252 20:09, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Bite

Is it true that Girafarig can't learn Bite. If so, isn't it than a Trivia Bigtukker 13:40, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

Why would it be? --Grubdubdub 06:48, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

... It is in the trivia...--ForceFire 07:03, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Pokédex Error

In it's Emerald Dex entry, it says "A Girafarig is an herbivore--it eats grass and tree shoots. While it is eating, its tail makes chewing and swallowing motions as if it were also eating." Is this an error on Bulbapedia's mark, or Game Freak's? - unsigned comment from Pawsrent (talkcontribs)

Actually, "an herbivore" is grammatically correct. The h is silent in this word, so it's treated as if it began with a vowel, thus using the word "an". ~ solaris 23:28, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Not all of us say it with a silent h Sol. Either way though it should be an. A quirk of the English language is that h at the start of words behaves as a vowel for the purposes of a/an, etc. It's a quirk inherited from Latin through French, although it is very commonly forgotten. The question now is did Game Freak get it right, or have we fixed their mistake? Werdnae (talk) 23:37, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
It says "an herbivore" pretty clearly on my game.. ▫▫ティナ 23:46, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

All Regional Dexes?

"Since its debut in Generation II, Girafarig has been featured in all regional Pokédexes."

What does that mean, exactly? The Unova Dex is a regional Pokedex, right? Girafarig's not in the Unova Dex, of course... King Riolu 20:24, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

I think it's outdated. ----- Conanshinichi 20:51, 27 May 2011 (UTC)
