Welcome to Bulbapedia, MichaelXD!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Page edits

Please read the Manual of Style before making more edits to pages. Edits should not be started with "edit" or be written in a conversational manner. Also, if someone removes your edit, do not just make it again. Doing so is known as edit warring and is not a good thing. Bring it up on the talk page instead - where a conversational style like your previous edit had would be more appropriate. That said, if you want to say "I'm not making this up" you'll need some kind of proof. Werdnae (talk) 03:35, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

Your writing style is still inappropriate for Bulbapedia, so please read Style primer and Manual of style before you continue editing.--Den Zen 11:37, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
Please read those articles. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia. Articles must be written factually from a third person perspective. Using "you" is informal and poor style for an encyclopedia. Please reword your latest contributions, lest they be removed. Werdnae (talk) 22:44, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! -- ✔Poké.geek✔ 21:13, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

MichaelXD, you're still not using the preview button, please make sure that you use that button before saving the page. Thanks! -- ✔Poké.geek✔ 18:24, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Another reminder to please use the preview button. It's important because it clogs the recent changes. Thank you. --Pokemaster97 02:23, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

Genders and abilities for anime Pokémon

Hello there. I'd just like to inform you that genders and abilities must be confirmed via the anime. Even though Sturdy is Forretress's only ability in the games, the anime may not follow how the games go and it may possibly have a different ability (especially now with the Dream World abilities). Also, even though Brock's Forretress is female in Stadium, that doesn't mean that its female in the anime too. Thank you for listening. --ケンジガール 21:19, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

Please do not add genders and abilities when they are unproven in the anime. What you are doing is considered vandalism and could result in a block. Thank you for listening. --ケンジガール 21:25, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
This is your final warning. Please stop adding abilities and/or genders to the anime Pokémon pages when no proof was presented through the anime. You will be blocked for a short period of time if you decide to continue. --ケンジガール 21:29, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

Talk messages

When you posted a talk message to Pokemaster97, you accidentally posted it to the user's main page, instead of his or her talk page. Please make sure that in the future, you always post the message on the talk page. MaverickNate 02:33, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

Block appeal

As I told you on my talk page, BP does not handle forum block appeals. Do not ask anyone on BP about it again. -- MAGNEDETH 00:32, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
