Dark Celebi (Japanese: Ｒ団のセレビィ Rocket's Celebi) is a dual-type Grass/Darkness Basic Pokémon card. It is part of the EX Hidden Legends expansion.

• Dark Celebi is the first Pokémon with "Dark" in its name to be dual-typed with Darkness and its normal type. This would later return in EX Team Rocket Returns, which, in Japan, this card was a part of, but moved up to EX Hidden Legends for unknown reasons. It is also the first, and only, Basic Pokémon to be a Dark Pokémon.
• Strangely, the Japanese name of the card is R団のセレビィ Rocket's Celebi, meaning that it is actually more in league with cards like Rocket's Mewtwo than with cards like Dark Sandslash.

Origin

• This card references the fate of the Celebi of Celebi: Voice of the Forest, which was captured in a Dark Ball by the Iron-Masked Marauder.
• Leaf Poison's Japanese name is that of PoisonPowder, a move in the Pokémon games; however, Celebi cannot learn it.
