If it was Ryoku the one that captured Volcarona, then we can assume it has his ID. Hence I deem we should take it as he formerly owned it.- unsigned comment from Ajui13 (talk • contribs)

Oh my, I forgot it. I mean in pokemon adventures manga. As we can see in chapter 482 Vs. Maractus, Ryoku enters in the Relic Castle looking for Volcarona. Then after N is defeated, Ghetsis fights using Volcarona. I'm only assuming that Ryoku captured Volcarona and gave to Ghetsis. Hence I consider we should take it as he formerly owned it.
