Release information

This card was released in the English Jungle expansion as both a Holofoil and Non Holofoil card, originating from the Japanese Pokémon Jungle expansion as only a Holofoil card. The Holofoil print of this card was later reprinted in the English Base Set 2 expansion.

A special reprint with the same artwork by Ken Sugimori was released in the English Platinum expansion, originating from its Japanese equivalent, Galactic's Conquest. This print modified some of the card text to bring it in line with modern card wording whilst still allowing it to retain its original effects.

Early prints of the Unlimited Holofoil version from the Jungle expansion were printed without the set symbol.
