Release information

In Japan, this card was one of five XY-P Promotional cards included in special packs of Mini Egg Pan and Mini Melon Pan available starting September 1, 2016. The Daiichi Pan Pokémon Pan logo is printed on the top right of the artwork. It is one of two cards in the promotion to feature an Original Era inspired layout, commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the TCG.

Charge and Thunderbolt are both moves in the Pokémon games that Pikachu can learn, the former as a Pichu via breeding. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue and Pokémon LeafGreen. This card is based on one of the Wizards Black Star promotional Pikachu.
