Omastar (Japanese: オムスター Omstar) is a Water-type Stage 2 Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Fossil expansion.

Release information

This card was included in the English Fossil expansion, first released in the Japanese Mystery of the Fossils expansion. It was later reprinted in the English Legendary Collection expansion.

Trivia

Although this Pokémon is level 32, Omanyte does not evolve into Omastar until level 40.

Origin

Water Gun and Spike Cannon are both moves in the Pokémon games that Omastar can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded. The Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
