Nurse Joy's Comfey (Japanese: ジョーイのキュワワー Joy's Cuwawa) are Pokémon owned by Nurse Joys in the Alola region alongside Blissey.
History
Comfey made its debut in First Catch in Alola, Ketchum-Style!, in which it put its lei around Ash's neck soon after Ash first came into contact with it. It also assisted Nurse Joy in treating Pikachu.
Comfey reappeared in Real Life...Inquire Within!, in which it assisted Ash and his classmates when they were on work experience at the Pokémon Center. Multiple Comfey appeared during the Poké Problem, in which they assisted in taking the Akala Island Nurse Joy back to her main island.
Personality and characteristics
Like most of Nurse Joy's Pokémon, Comfey is a helpful and caring Pokémon and is always ready to help injured or sick Pokémon. As shown in First Catch in Alola, Ketchum-Style!, it had no problem sharing its lei with Ash, which soothed the Trainer with its aroma.
Trivia
- Comfey is the only recurring Pokémon used by Nurse Joy that is not a Normal-type.
