region where they intend to go to the ruins in the desert resort. However, upon arriving at the desert they realise that it was way too hot and big for travelling by foot . There they encountered a mysterious girl with her Template:Meditite who suggested them to use their flying Pokemon to do desert surfing and cross the desert . Ash takes out Template:Dragonite who hugs her in affection while go took out his Template:Beedrill . The girl took out her Template:Brivary to whom she handed a rope and holds it while standing on a surf board as they went away. Ash and go does the same and in turn does a small race . However, Dragonite do to his high speed took off to the air with Ash and Template:Pikachu who were visibly exhausted after the flight.

• Ash and Go being chased by a boulder is a reference to the first Indiana Jones film Raiders of the Lost Ark. This also marks the fourth time this has been parodied during the anime.
