In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, when Treecko walks, it uses all the four hands/feet. "Treecko [...] is bipedal" Mateussf 01:12, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I included that in the Trivia. LatiasGemstonr
This peice of trivia is now untrue, as tsutaaja's official art and sprite show him as bipedal.--Wind 20:25, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

Returning the Favor?

In HG/SS you can get the Hoenn starters after getting sixteen badges and in Emerald you could get The Johto starters after, I think after you complete the national dex. Trivia item perhaps? --Landfish7 23:35, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Is Treecko based off Yoshi?

Do you think Treecko is based off Yoshi? I have ever seen Pokémon based on non-Pokémon Nintendo characters. Special Stage Route (pit stop) 09:58, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

Their only similarity is that they are green reptiles, and there are hundreds of fictional green reptiles.--Den Zen 10:38, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

are we going to get te 3d images from the new games or ar we just going to be using the most recent artwork

are we just using the artwork or shall we see if we can get some 3d images from the games - unsigned comment from Thegrassmaster (talkcontribs)

Tail

Anyone else notice how, prior to gen VI, Treecko's tail was a thick solid tail with two small nubs at the tip, but now its two separate tails that move on their own? Trivia or no?--Lycos Ex Mortis (talk) 03:46, 28 February 2015 (UTC)

Artwork (applies to Torchic and Mudkip as well)

Is there a particular reason that we are using the Ruby and Sapphire Sugimori art for the infobox(es)? With other Pokémon with redone artwork (FRLG saw new art for all Gen 1 Pokémon, and the same for Gen 2 with HGSS) we use the most recent artwork, but for these starters (as well as Rayquaza, but there are significant design differences between Sugimori's images of Rayquaza that could obscure some details, so I can understand that) we are using artwork from RS, not even Emerald, which has its own, when ORAS did result in new art for these starters. Ultimately, it doesn't matter much to me, beyond the fact that I think the more recent artwork looks nicer (more aesthetically pleasing coloring and light/shadow decisions, at least to me, and more dynamic poses) and it's not a big deal if we can't, I'm just curious as to why we can't.
