Release information

This card was included in the Burning Shadows expansion with artwork by Eri Yamaki, first released in the Japanese Darkness that Consumes Light expansion. A SM Black Star Promotional print with different artwork by the same artist was one of the Prerelease promos for Burning Shadows, available in the Burning Shadows Prerelease Kit. A print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was one of four possible cards given to those overseeing the event. The Burning Shadows print was reprinted as a Mirror Holofoil in the Japanese GX Battle Boost subset and as a Non Holofoil in the Japanese GX Ultra Shiny subset. A new print with artwork by SATOSHI NAKAI featuring the Shiny version of Seviper was included in the Hidden Fates expansion, which was also included in the Japanese GX Ultra Shiny subset.
