- Pokémon senryu summary: Full of secrets/mystery, riddle after riddle, Gastly.
- This is the second dubbed episode to not use the Pokémon Logo in the title card when the episode title includes the franchise's name. The first was EP033. (The accent on the 'e' is also for some reason displayed before the rest of the title.)
Errors
- When James says "To unite all peoples within our nation", his gloves are missing.
- When Joy reappears from the Water after Ash and company were looking for her, she said that she was busy treating a sick Cloyster. She was actually treating a Shellder.
