A Game Boy Advance Video is a cartridge that contains episodes of a cartoon that can be viewed on a Game Boy Advance. Each cartridge typically costs around $20.
The first cartridges contained episodes from the Pokémon anime, though it has since spread to a number of other shows, most notably from Nickelodeon. A similar scheme later became a major selling point of the Sony PSP.
The cartridges were made incompatible with the Game Boy Player accessory so that users cannot record the shows onto recordable media such as blank VHS tapes or DVDs.
