Bill's grandfather is a minor non-playable character who is featured in the Generation I and II games, as well as the Generation III remakes of the Generation I games.
During Generations I and III, he can be found living in Fuchsia City with his granddaughter, Bill's sister Daisy.
In Generation II, he plays a more pivotal role to the plot. He provides evolution stones in exchange for being shown certain Pokémon. This is one of the few ways to attain evolution stones in the Generation II games.
