The Editor-in-Chief of Bulbapedia is the head editor of Bulbapedia, in charge of coordinating the activities of the Editorial Board as well as directing the editors of Bulbapedia in general. Generally, the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the appearance of the wiki, and is one of Bulbagarden's chief executives, answering directly to Archaic.
On his or her retirement, the Editor-in-Chief will select his or her own successor from among the Editorial Board. Former Editors-in-Chief remain in an advisory role to the Editorial Board and current Editor-in-Chief.
