Talk:Yellow (Adventures)
Surely it is far more likely that Blue (Green in English) is inspiration for a female character? - Gastly's Mama
- I honestly think there was no inspiration, they just didn't have the space in RGBYGS to put a female player. TTEchidna 22:46, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
- Should this be deleted?(cause this seems like speculation)--CoolPikachu! 00:01, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
- How is "Blue was originally created based on a proposed female player character who eventually got cut from the Generation I games." at all relevant to a page on Yellow? - Gastly's Mama

Pokédex
Shouldn't it be mentioned that she has her own Pokédex after Red gave her one of the old ones (probably his) after they got the Version III Dexes? I don't wanna accidentally screw the page up or accidentally delete it or something. ~~HayLinLa~~
Game Character
Although there's no proof of Yellow being based on any game character or NPC, in RBGY there is a long-haired girl at Viridian City. Her grandpa teachs you how to catch a Pokemon, using a Weedle as an example in Red, Green, and Blue, but a Rattata in Yellow. On Yellow's debut on Pokemon Special, Red teach her how to catch a pokemon using a Rattata as an example.
It's just an uncertain idea, but there is a chance for Yellow being based on that girl. I need some feedback for this theory.

First time editing and poor english, sorry. ~~SHINING~~
- I doubt it's the same character. The game one is minor and no one really thinks about her, and I seriously doubt they'd base a main character off of someone so irrelevant. Her uncle is in the games, but it is improbable that that girl is Yellow. --Galladeon 16:56, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
First Page Yellow?
Image removed due to copyright violation
- Is that Yellow trying to capture that Nidorino? This is the first page of Pokémon Special. --Galladeon 16:52, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Short answer, no. TheChrisD Rants•Edits 16:56, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Look at that picture, then this page . That's Yellow's first "official" appearance. See the similarities? --Galladeon 17:03, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- They're both young girls. I've already looked over them myself, and I've already come to the conclusions that it's not Yellow. Just because they're both similar in body shape and size doesn't necessarily mean anything. Different hair, different clothing and their eyes also look different. Plus, why would she be down in Pallet Town catching Pokémon when she lives up in Viridian City? TheChrisD Rants•Edits 21:03, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Yellow's Golem's sex
Yellow's Golem is listed as female here, but as male on the (admittedly incomplete) official site. Does it list it as being female in the manga itself or what? Capsule Computer 05:39, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
- I agree that someone should check the actual manga. Coronis appears to agree with the website you're quoting. If the manga itself agrees with the website, then odds are the error is our listing. --Shiningpikablu252 16:01, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
WTF?
I was just glancing over the article when I noticed that she's included in both the male and female characters categories. Should this be fixed? --エルレイド 08:55, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
- It was probably added because Yellow did pretend to be a boy for 2 arcs of the manga.--☆Coolピカチュウ! 08:56, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Abilities
In what chapter was Yellow able to read the minds of humans? Ketsuban 02:59, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Trivia?
Would it be worth noting that as well as Yellow and Emerald both being non-game characters, they both have height problems? (With Emerald being really, really small and Yellow being shorter than others despite her age?) --Loveon 08:05, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
"Yellow Caballero"
VIZ Media's, erm, media seem to be using this moniker in volume descriptions. Is there any value in its addition to the article? TJF588 04:43, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
